About Us
History of Katec Kälte Klima GmbH
The Katec GmbH was founded in 2011 as a sole proprietorship under the name Katec. The company Katec was responsible for the service and trade of chiller units.
Now we are proud to have converted the company into a GmbH. With the switch to GmbH, we have changed and expanded our portfolio. We are now a manufacturing company and describe ourselves as a “Manufacturer”. Our production site is located in the rural area of Mühlhausen Ehingen. The product range ranges from chiller units to refrigeration systems, to specially customer-specifically manufactured cold water machines and refrigeration systems of all kinds. With our experienced project managers, we also design your requirements and demands for a refrigeration system.
Our chiller units and refrigeration systems, which are manufactured by our trained mechatronics engineers at our production site, are used by industries ranging from commercial to healthcare.
With the advantage of having our production site located in Mühlhausen Ehingen, we are well-prepared for emergencies. In case of a machine failure or similar situation, we can quickly deliver our refrigeration systems from our own warehouse, without relying on external freight forwarders as we have our own shipping department. In addition to selling our refrigeration units, we also offer rentals which proves to be equally flexible in case of emergencies.
We also have the right product for our customers who require higher cooling capacity. As a service and sales partner with Daikin Applied Germany GmbH, we can offer our customers a wide portfolio of refrigeration and air conditioning systems effortlessly.
